LEND A HAND

Have you ever had an experience when you help the people and felt very sympathy towards them? I have a lot of them and the most memorable one was when I helped the Rohingya kids from Madrasah Hashimiah. While I was waiting for them, a lot of perception towards them came into my mind. How would they be like? I am very curious on that time and as they arrived, there was a feeling that could not be described when I saw the kids were in white.

It was my first time, having a direct interaction with a syrian boy. He was 13 but he looked like an 8 year-old. At first, communicating was quite hard because he doesn't know about speaking malay language. Things got better when we used sign languages to ask him questions on which baju melayu he wants, which songkok that he wants and which 'samping' he would like to have. Four hours with Abdul Karim was surely a repentful time. He made a difference to my perception on life.

This charity work was organised by Noah Foundation in cooperation with Unirazak.

Mydin Mall Subang Jaya was chosen to be our shopping place on that day.
